CONTACT AN ALIEN

Thinking about inviting me to your event? Wants to commission a short piece or illustration? Are you working on a thesis based on my work? Etc, etc. Read through to find out the best way to reach me.

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

The best way to request my appearance for speaking engagement (festival, book talk, discussion, etc) is through my publisher (KPG; their instagram is @penerbitkpg). Unfortunately, I only check this site's messages once every six months, and due to my crippling paranoia, I don't feel comfortable sharing my e-mail. However, if you happen to have my e-mail from someone I've previously been in contact with, please feel free to reach out to me there.

I have limited time outside my daily activities, so make sure to send an invitation to your event:

At least 2 months before the date for offline event, or 1 month for online event, or 3 months for class
Include as many event details as possible, but especially time, location, and payment details.* If possible, please also include fellow panellists, if any.

*please note that I currently do not accept pro bono offline engagement or class

COMMISSION

If you'd like to commission me for writing (essay, short story, etc.), translation, or illustration, please:

Send the request at least 1 month before the due date for short story or essay, or 1 year for novel manuscript, or 2 weeks for illustration (type- and amount-relevant) or translation (type- and length-relevant)
Include due date and payment details.

ACADEMIC/OTHER PURPOSES

If you're currently writing a thesis or something else for academic purpose that is based on my work(s), unfortunately, the same rules applies: I cannot give my personal e-mail. Please try to engage through this site and wait for response (read the 'Speaking Engagement' section to see possible reply period), OR talk to me during an event. It's difficult to keep track on Twitter, but if you want, you can reach me through my Bluesky account (@migratingCROISSANT) and reply to any post to let me know what you need. Good luck!

If you're looking to adapt my work(s) in any way, please contact me through my publisher (you can try reaching to me individually, but I might suspect you're pinjol D:). I hold all other media rights to my works, but I'm a slow-replier and I'm afraid of people I don't know, so they're a more practical option.
